All Trustees

Must abide by the Confidentiality Policy and all decisions should be made with the best interest and benefit of the members at heart.

Chair

The Chair of the Association will be responsible for taking the lead role in meetings: AGMs, Trustees or any Special meetings. They will have the deciding vote in any split decisions/votes.

Will be the main contact for NWL and EA.

The Chair should be aware of all matters that are happening within the Club and should maintain an overseeing role at all times to ensure the Clubs affairs are carried out to a standard that is acceptable to its members.  

Will produce Catch return data for publication as and when required.

Vice Chair

As and when required the Vice Chair will take over responsibilities of the Chair as and when required.

Treasurer

The Treasurer will be responsible for the ongoing accounts for the club and produce the accounts as and when required. This will normally be on a monthly basis and an end of year statement. The Treasurer will also organise the external annual finance audit and the pre audit of the accounts by 2 of the Trustees.

Secretary &

Document Controller

Main responsibilities are : Recording minutes of all meetings to be approved and signed by the Chair, Producing agendas, Risk assessments, writing Policies and procedures , coordinating with the other Trustees and assisting with Club membership; invoicing, AGM preparation and coordinating the membership circulars, plus any responses from the Members as requested at these AGMs.

Stocking secretary

Responsible for producing stocking costs and schedules for the stocking dates. These will normally be approved at the AGMs by the members.

Updates on the progress of stocking and associated costs will generally take place monthly at the Trustees meetings and at the AGMs. Catch returns will be analysed and produced as and when required.

Membership secretary

For the upkeep of membership lists of all members and their key data eg, Address, contact details etc. Will also keep up to date a membership application waiting list for reference when new members are needed. Will circulate to all members by e mail, post or text, information as required. Will compile responses for presentation at meetings where required. Liaise with the Treasurer on membership payment status.

Child Protection Officer

Responsible for the ongoing review of this Policy and to offer advice to the Trustees and members regarding this key topic.

Controller

Responsible for information as requested by the Trustees concerning the use of this website and to report to the Trustees any areas of concern.

Website controller

A joint responsibility for the nominated Trustees [see below] who will update the Website as and when required. They will also circulate to members information and guidance again, as and when required. Key Policies and Risk assessments are the main function of the NWDAA website.

Bailiffs

Ongoing responsibility for monitoring our waters and to report any issues with non adherence to the Club rules, and other issues such as Poaching, H&S, Environmental concerns etc.

Although all members are expected to report any similar concerns through our Accident and Incident reporting procedure.
