The award of Honorary membership, their rights and privileges – Ref Number 6-1

  1. From time to time it may feel 'only right and proper' for an Honorary Membership to be awarded to a member of NWDAA, this would usually be for outstanding services rendered to the Club. It is a very special honor which we as a Club can choose to bestow upon an individual. The main benefits to anyone receiving this award would be: the gratitude of the members and free life membership to our Club.

  2. Nominations for Honorary Memberships should be presented to the committee for consideration and possible inclusion at the next AGM. The Trustees will evaluate all proposals on their merits and decide if the nomination is to be presented to members at the next AGM for ratification.

  3. Nominations must be received in the aforesaid manner, however, they will not become active until confirmed by members with a majority vote at an AGM.

  4. Honorary members are welcome to attend AGMs and SGMs but have no voting rights and can only speak from the floor with the permission of the Chair.
