North West Durham Angling Association

Junior Codes Of Conduct Agreement

JCOCF 1 [Update June 2021]

Rules For Junior Members of NWDAA . 13A

The minimum age for junior membership to NWDAA is 7 years of age.

Upon reaching 16 years of age (at time of renewal) junior members will be offered a discounted

(Student membership) until aged 18 at which time full membership will be offered. If no places are available at that time, individuals can remain as student members until a place becomes available. Priority will be given to juniors.

When fishing with a senior member the bag must be shared with that member, i.e. max one fish only, shared between the senior and junior members per visit. (Not one fish per angler). However if the accompanying member is a student member then he/she can take 1 fish as well if so desired.

Junior and Student members must be under close supervision at all times and must never under any circumstances be left unattended. As a general rule juniors should be close enough to the accompanying adult to enable them to have a conversation, without having to shout at one another.

Junior and student members must strictly observe all the same club rules laid out for our full members at all times.
